Capitol CUE provides members in the eleven counties served by our organization with information on technology education and training opportunities. We support, through member involvement, technology leadership networks. CapCUE serves as a forum for sharing ideas and experiences involving technology in the school environment, and fellowship with other educators dedicated to incorporating technology into their curriculum.

Capitol CUE is a regional affiliate of CUE, a California state-wide organization.

CapCUE Committee Planning Meeting
May 19, 2009, 4:30-6:30 PM
Visions in Education, 4800 Manzanita, Carmichael, CA
 
The first half of this meeting will be focused on defining the roles of CapCUE’s committees.  Over the past few months many of you have expressed interest in getting more involved in CapCUE.  According to our bylaws we have five standing committees:
  • Program Committee
  • Resource Development Committee
  • Business Committee
  • Personnel Committee
  • Legislative Committee 
The exact role of each of these committees has yet to be defined and we will be taking the first half of the next CapCUE board meeting to outline each group’s role.  If you are interested in being involved in a committee or perhaps even being the leader of one (hint...hint...hint) we would love to have you attend this meeting to help us define each committee’s role. 
 
During the second half of our meeting we plan on having a little fun combined with professional development on how Google Earth can be used as an instructional tool in the classroom.  By attending this meeting in just two short hours you will have the chance to shape the future of CapCUE and find out how to bring the world to your students using Google Earth! 
 
The meeting is open to both current and future CapCUE members.
